Gabriele Santoro lives in a working-class area of Naples and is a professor at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella, where he teaches piano. One morning, while he is shaving, the postman rings the doorbell to tell him that a package has arrived. He presses the button to open the door and before picking up the package, he washes his face first. In that short span of time, a ten-year-old child sneaks into his apartment and hides. It's Ciro, a boy who lives in the attic of the same building with his parents, siblings and apparently has enemies...

Films set in Naples are often linked to the camorra, one way or another. This also applies to this film about a boy who, after a rash act, fears for his life and goes into hiding in the apartment of a single music teacher. A bond gradually develops between the two. That's about it. Not very special.
