Prowlers of the Everglades plot

Travel back in time with a primeval reptile stalking its prey in 'the swamp forgotten by time'. Watch the alligator, undisputedly the most dominant predator of the Everglades, go through its life cycle in much the same way it did in prehistoric times. Modest females entice fierce males into vicious mating struggles, mothers go to great lengths to protect their nests from prowling egg thieves, and baby alligators struggle to survive even the short journey from their nest to the dizzying and disorienting world beneath the water's surface.
