"The chase is on."
The teenage boy William wants to be a storm chaser like his late father Bill. However, he isn't thrilled with the plans of businessman Zane Rogers to misuse Bill's estate to attract tourists. William flees his home and joins forces with Roy, a former buddy of his father. Meanwhile, his worried mother goes looking for him.

Twister's imitation, of course. Beautiful pictures, a very small dash of drama, but other than that the comparison is done. Nowhere even remotely close to that great example, and especially narratively there are just too many stitches.
Anne Heche's last film I believe - although quite a few things were in production. Anyway, too bad, she still had so much beautiful things to bring.

Adventure disaster film in which director Herbert James Winterstern makes the risky but compelling choice of using real tornado footage as the action set. Skeet Ulrich and Daniel Diemer also give highly commendable performances, despite the limited space allocated to them by the screenplay. While Supercell is overflowing with clichés and runs far too long, especially towards the end, it remains quite entertaining. While the filmmakers are creative with the limited budget, the viewer misses a larger action scene to round it all out. Therefore, it falls just short of a passing grade.
