The House across the Bay plot
"THREE MEN IN LOVE WITH THE SAME WOMAN! EACH DETERMINED TO GET HER!"
Steve Larwitt owns a nightclub. He sees everything he's invested in fall apart when he is besieged by rivals and plagued by accusations of tax evasion. His lawyer convinces Steve's wife Brenda, whom he has a crush on, to testify against her husband: he would only receive a short sentence, and be safer in prison. However, Steve is sentenced to ten years in prison, in Alcatraz. Brenda moves to be closer to her husband. There, aircraft manufacturer Tim Nolan, who knows nothing more about her, tries to court her.

Or no review has been written of it yet, which is scandalous. Joan Bennett plays a strong emotional role here as the faithful wife who moves to San Francisco to be closer to her husband, who has to serve 10 years in Alcatraz.
There, however, she meets aircraft builder Tim, who is attracted to her but knows nothing about her background.
