Nick Driesen (Jan Lauwers) doesn't know what to do with his life. In a music store he meets Makkus (Arthur Reijnders), a composer who has fallen into disrepair. Makkus can't afford the baton he wants and Nick decides to buy it for Makkus. From then on, the two become friends, but are they both who they say they are?

I saw it this week on Eclips TV, for goodness sake, just like the post above. As far as I'm concerned, it's a lame, substanceless film and it looks at least 10 years older than it actually is. I didn't even finish watching it. I had never heard of the lead actor, Jan Lauwers, and there is little to be found about the man on the internet except that he once had two small roles in FC De Kampioenen. Moreover, Arthur Reynders from Schuif Af! is even more laughable here as an alcoholic fantasist than his clownish role in Schuif Af! Deservedly a completely forgotten Flemish film.
