The Heiress plot
"The curse runs through her veins."
Sisters Clare and Anna live together. Because Clare needs care, Anna helps her in between work. Clare sees ghostly visions throughout the house, but Anna has trouble believing Clare. However, the visions become more intense and one night Clare attacks Anna, thinking she is a ghost. Clare is then admitted to an institution, but the visions continue to haunt her.
