Oranje - Hoe een Klein Dorp Groot Kan Zijn plot

The Drenthe village of Oranje with only 150 inhabitants was unexpectedly saddled with a center for 1400 asylum seekers in 2014. This made the village a metaphor for the fear of many Dutch people that we would be overrun with refugees. When the news cameras in Orange had gone, the makers started filming - and they continued to do so until the closure of the center. The result shows a surprising interaction between the villagers and the predominantly Muslim refugees.
