Twenty-five-year-old Vadym earns his living recording all kinds of sounds. He has already had some setbacks and would love to exchange his life in Kiev for his dream destination: Canada. When he gets a lucrative assignment to record authentic Ukrainian animals, and in particular a very rare duck that lives alone in the mountains of Transcarpathia in Ukraine, he doesn't think twice and sets off. It only gets a little more complicated when his travel companion turns out to be his own mother…
