Alma Provinciana plot

Don Julián is a landowner who has two children who study in the city. When his daughter María comes home during the holidays, she falls for one of her father's employees. They secretly start a relationship, but Don Julián soon finds out. Gerardo, the son of Don Julián, falls in love in the city with a young maid, the daughter of a shoemaker. These two decide to get married. Unfortunately for María and Gerardo, their father cannot just accept their relationships.
