Quite a nice video. In any case, it is not a standard sugary rom-com, and as far as I am concerned it leans more towards a romantic drama. There is a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere around the characters, both of whom do not seem to be feeling well. Even when they become friends, it still feels awkward. Well done by the cast who play well.

A film from the Olympic Channel, and the first to feature Thomas Bach in the title role under the heading 'thank you'. Then you know in advance that no objectionable word will be uttered. And it is actually somewhat surprising that the leading role is not for a medal winner, but for one of those countless people who, all things considered, simply have no chance of winning - almost like the proverbial bobsledders from Jamaica.

But miraculously, despite all these obstacles, a film is still released somewhere in the distance, although you definitely have to be in a permissive mood for that. It has very little to do with the Olympic Games, other than the forced setting that such an event entails. The abundance of cringy scenes actually has nothing to do with that, and neither does the cuteness of the leads - it reminds me of that film in which the leads came together due to a volcanic eruption in Iceland and something beautiful was created. The only thing the Olympic setting really adds to this is the line 'see you in four years'. Considering the astronomical amounts of money sloshing around in the games and the Olympic Channel, that's a bit of a weakness - no matter how cute Pappas and Kroll may be.
