El Año del Descubrimiento plot

1992. Spain is a democratic country that is modern and promising, with a vibrant economy. At a time when the Barcelona Olympics are being held, the Expo is taking place in Seville and the liberal foundations of today's Europe are being signed, social uprisings broke out in the small town of Cartagena. This resulted in the burning of the regional parliament. The ingredients of the economic and social crisis that will take place 16 years later are all already there. The film is a 24-hour reconstruction in a coffee shop on the eve of these riots.
