The Chechahcos plot
A group of adventurers and prospectors on their way to Alaska are ambushed by a fire aboard their ship. During the commotion that ensues, Mrs. Stanlaw loses sight of her young daughter Ruth. Ruth is taken care of by 'Horseshoe' Riley and Bob Dexter. However, Mrs. Stanlaw is under the impression that her daughter has died. Ten years later, Ruth has grown up and is in love with Dexter, who now has a thriving gold mine.
