The Laughing Policeman plot
"This movie is so real it makes every other movie in this town look like a movie."
In San Francisco, eight occupants of a bus are shot by an unknown person. One of the victims is Officer Dave Evans, Jake Martin's partner. In order to apprehend the perpetrators, the police start an investigation into the private lives of the victims. However, Jake is convinced that the killing has something to do with an old, unexplained case.
