Children of the Revolution plot
"A red comedy about the ultimate party animals."
In the 1950s, Joan is the leader of the Australian Communist Party, who must fight to keep the party going. The enormous efforts lead her to meet with Stalin in Russia. The meeting turns out to be a dirty affair and Joan finds herself returning with Stalin's son. This causes her own son to grow up as the big noise maker of politics, which threatens to lead to a civil war.
