Gundermann plot
The film is about the life of East German singer and writer Gerhard Gundermann. He was a poet, a clown and an idealist. He was also a miner. His dealings with the secret police (STASI) of the GDR is also discussed. He was a spy who was spied on and a benefactor who knew no better.
