Yuli plot
Cuba, early 80s last century. Carlos is an unruly and rebellious child who wants to become a football player when he grows up. He learned most about life on the streets of Havana, where he is known as the uncrowned king of break dance. Against his wishes, his father sends him to the boarding school of the Cuban state ballet. The loneliness he experiences there makes dance his refuge. This marks the beginning of a unique career that takes him to London's Royal Ballet, where as the first black star dancer, he becomes a legend dancing in the greatest of performances. But far from home, he longs for Cuba and his family and will have to choose between Havana or London.
