The Sisterhood plot
Ashley Shields is a young woman who is going through a difficult period: she has marital problems, didn't get a promotion at work, and lost her mother. Ashley's sister Jasmine takes her to a women's group calling itself "The Sisterhood". Ashley is impressed by the women and feels motivated to change her life for the better. But it soon becomes apparent that she has to pay a high price for this.
