Os Faroleiros plot

Rosa's father works on a fishing ship at sea. After the boat washes up without a trace of the crew, Rosa is housed in the house of the lighthouse keeper João Vidal. António Gaspar, also a lighthouse keeper, is in love with Rosa. His jealousy of João Vidal results in Rosa's death. António's mother helps him hide this.
