"Scream for Your Life"

Spencer Crowe is a horror movie director with a bad reputation. That's why nobody in Hollywood wants to work with him. Meanwhile, the mayor of the small town of Somertown is in suspense because he has to be re-elected. He is desperately looking for a way to get more votes. It's almost Halloween and the mayor comes up with the brilliant idea of building a terrifying haunted house. He asks Spencer Crowe for help.

Rating raised by half a point after review. I normally don't rewatch these kinds of films, but the Fright Fest setting made it tempting to watch it again. It's certainly cheap and illogical, and you don't need to watch this film by director Ante Novakovic for creepy creativity. But after half an hour, the brakes are off, and as a viewer, you're guaranteed a decent hour of entertainment. Plenty of speed, plenty of murders, and the interplay between rooms make for an amusing, short final result that does exactly what it's supposed to for fans.
