“This is amazing! You are literally like my musical soul mate.”

Fine film that thrives on the touching and infectious interplay between Cera and Dennings. A very nice duo, and Cera and Dennings have a chemistry that feels natural. Cera always plays the same geeky type, but he's perfected it. Dennings gets along well with the sarcastic and (at first sight) confident Norah, who eventually also has her doubts and insecurities.

The story doesn't say much and luckily the director opts for a short playing time. The music is strongly chosen and of course Cera's Nick listens to emo rock. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is a late night New York night out in which Nick and Norah slowly get to know each other and eventually face real teenage challenges. And because of the acting by Cera and Dennings, it is also a very entertaining evening for the viewer.

Nice.

Always fun, such an American comedy that doesn't try to score with vulgar and brutal humor. I like stupid humor every now and then, but I'm not a big fan of that screaming, vulgar stuff. With Baruchel and Cera on board, I was afraid for a while.

Fortunately, this comedy is more subtle and especially successful on a romantic level. I had faith in Cera, but not so much in Dennings. Fortunately, she was not that bad, but she does have a role that she plays more often. The slightly sarcastic teenager, she plays it just a little too often.

On a visual level there is not too much to experience. Everything is very classically portrayed and the tempo is not very high. Still, it's high enough not to get boring, but the film did drop a bit dead here and there in the beginning. Once the romance and adventure kicks in, the film gets a bit better.

The jokes are not hilarious, sometimes downright rude. That hassle with the dirty toilet, for example. Still, it doesn't really bother me, even though it's not an original kind of humor. It's especially the cute chemistry between Dennings and Cera that is superbly portrayed with the right timing to impress the viewer.

It's the cuteness of the movie that makes it so much fun. Couldn't help but sit with a smile on my face towards the end. Director Sollett succeeds in telling a sweet story and does not take the time to do so. Directors like Apatow need a long time for that, but it can also be done in 90 minutes.

It's not boring, and it's a sweet event. One of Dennings' best roles in my opinion. Nice chemistry between the main characters. However, the humor is not very successful and it could have been a little lighter at times, but otherwise there is not much to complain about. Nice video.
