"The true story of a day that started like any other"
July 22 tells the true story of the aftermath of the deadly terrorist attack in Norway on July 22, 2011. A member of the right-wing populist Norwegian Progress Party, Anders Behring Breivik, planted a car bomb in the government district of Oslo that day. Then followed a mass shooting at a summer camp for teenagers on the island of Utøya that killed 69 people. From the perspective of someone who survived the attack, we look at how the country is working towards recovery and reconciliation. A three-part story about the survivors of the attack, the Norwegian political leaders and the lawyers involved.

Somewhat mixed feelings about this movie. On the one hand I do not want to pay attention to that terrorist and his sick world view, on the other hand this story must also be able to be told. Fortunately, the choice has been made here to make the attack itself only a small part of the film, and to focus mainly on the aftermath; The process, recovery, and emotional struggle survivors face.
A real shortcoming is that English is spoken in a Norwegian film about a Norwegian drama with predominantly Norwegian actors.
