"Forgive us our sins"

The early years of the seventeenth century. Young Persephone is falsely accused and awaits the trial that will decide her life. When Persephone's fate seems clear, the mysterious Reverend Mother saves her. She is the leader of a religious group and, together with her sisters, dedicates her life to God.
