Yes, cute of course. Daughter of almost 4 had to choose, it was this or Casper and Emma. Fortunately she chose this film. As an adult this is also quite nice entertainment. Every now and then you have to chuckle and here and there a wink to the older viewer. In the beginning Rex was an annoying, spoiled animal but soon he knows how to wrap you around his leg. The clichés are not avoided and the course is of course mega predictable, but that will matter to the young viewers, who just hope that Rex will find his way home together with all his four-legged friends. For our girl a nice first cinema experience and now we of course also want a corgi in the house.

An animated film about the Corgi, a certain breed of dog that arouses a special affection in the Queen herself. Visually it looks quite good, like most films under Ben Stassen. The dogs look good, but also the Queen or her palace look quite handsome. Little to complain about.

In terms of content, however, it is a lot poorer. The humor is very bland and hardly catches on. Not witty enough for adults, but rather simple and easy. You can't get by with underwear humor these days.

I don't really know what to make of Trump in the movie. I think the guy is getting more than enough attention for himself than having to put him in an animated movie again.
