Brent av Frost plot

Simon is a young fisherman from northern Norway. He lives in a remote village. Lilian, the fish buyer's daughter, is his great love. During the German occupation, his family provides shelter to a number of Russian partisans. When the Germans track them down, they flee to the Soviet Union. After the war, Simon is persuaded by the Russians to return to Norway to spy for them.
