A Futile and Stupid Gesture plot
"Being the King of Comedy is no joke."
The name 'National Lampoon' was recognized worldwide after famous films like 'Animal House' and 'Caddyshack', and as the place that introduced the world to comedic stars such as Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, John Belushi and Gilda Radnor. But before its glory days, it was a disjointed comedy magazine. The driving force behind National Lampoon was Doug Kenney, and his strange story unfolds in 'A Futile and Stupid Gesture'.
