Sixteen-year-old Rhiannon falls in love with a mysterious soul named A who inhabits a different body every day. Rhiannon and A feel an incomparable bond and do everything they can to find each other every day. Time and again they feel more for each other and that takes its toll on the lovebirds. Ultimately, they will have to make a life-changing decision.

The story about a person named A. who wakes up every day in another body of a person of about the same age in the same environment also seemed unfilmable to me. But this is not as bad as it could have been. Angourie Rice is charming as Rhiannon, the girl whose life takes a romantic and complicated turn when A. takes over the body of her boyfriend Justin [Justice Smith, convincing in a double role] for a day. Of course it is a bizarre story, but with the exception of a few (including, unfortunately, Rice), the performances of no less than 15 actors as A. are excellently matched, certainly in terms of facial expressions and manner of speech. As a result, you initially accept the strange story, but halfway through the film takes a forced turn that turns out to be the starting signal for a crumbling of a hitherto carefully guarded illusion of reality, until almost nothing is left of it.

Enigmatic fantasy that fails to explore the romantic angle. It is never clear why the girl is in love with a character who keeps changing appearance.
Angourie Rice is definitely a nice girl. I can't think of anything more positive about this film.
Apparently it's a book adaptation, but the plot seems suspiciously similar to the 2015 Japanese film The Beauty Inside, which is a much better film by the way.

I feared it would be a typical romcom teen movie again, but luckily this one was different. An original story and the cast did a great job.
Furthermore, the playing time was also good, not too long and not too short. I had no expectations for this film, but it was better than expected.
