The Girl Said No plot

Jimmy, a bookmaker, meets a beautiful dancer. After deceiving him and taking a lot of money, she rejects him. Jimmy then hatches a plan to get revenge on her. He poses as a talent scout and tells her that she is his new discovery. He promises to make her a star. He hires an out-of-work theater troupe for a performance to convince the girl he's real. Everything goes well and his plan works. The only problem is that the girl loves him now, as does the whole group of players.
