Walloon-Brussels cinema and immediately an excellent feature debut by Samuel Tilman.
Nice construction and not the usual hassle of police interrogations, whether or not with a hard approach. The issue is also not discussed from a police point of view, but focuses entirely on the repercussions that a suspicion has on the person involved and his entourage.
Film remains captivating throughout its length because important details only emerge drop by drop and in the end the ending is a smashing surprise that leaves the viewers in the dark (who is actually the killer?)
Careful work, beautiful photography in nature and performances that can enchant, such as those by Fabrizio Rongione (often in the films of the Dardenne brothers), the multi-awarded Natacha Régnier and also Christophe Paou and Baptiste Lalieu.

It's been said here: the film borrows a lot from Vinterberg's Jagten in the way friends and family begin to question his innocence and socially ostracize him. As a viewer you are directed to believe the story of David, who is the prime suspect in the murder of a woman. He insists that while he was jogging, he passed by by chance. The revelation of a affair with a Polish woman and a possible paternity begin to cast doubts and strengthen the evidence against him. Bit of a gray and unremarkable film that lacks strong scenes to really be remembered in the future. The ending gave me an answer.

This is a very special detective film. Special because of the premise. Often it is an inspector who has to solve a murder. And sometimes the detective is seen from the killer's point of view doing his best to evade the police. And often in a detective there are several suspects to deceive the viewer. And in this film, the starting point is of such an extra suspect. At least, that's what you're supposed to believe as a viewer. But is he really not the culprit? And so do his friends and the rest of the environment. Well-founded point of view that opens a new way to an interesting psychological fact of how it works in people when you doubt whether you can trust someone. And this film builds on that nicely. While still acting well. The only thing that is a pity is that the film looks a bit mediocre. That the film doesn't really go deep into the police investigation either. And that you are not really on the edge of your seat. So a good movie. But I think three stars is enough. I have seen this film recorded from TV. And now only viewed it a year later when it is almost expired.
