The Thirteenth Reunion plot

Ruth, a magazine reporter for the women's section, is asked by her editor to participate in a ten-week course on a new weight loss organization called "Think Thin." According to a letter from a reader, the course is very masochistic and depressing, destroying the patient's self-image. During the course, Ruth befriends a person who dies in a car accident. During the funeral, an employee of the cemetery tells that strange events are taking place there. In her investigation, Ruth uncovers dark and macabre secrets.

Meanwhile, the 10th film in the Hammer House of Horror series. The story remains interesting enough to follow, but unfortunately things go wrong in the finale. The punchline of the story is fun and bizarre, but the execution in the final scene leaves something to be desired. A pity. Julia Foster does quite well as the main character who discovers bizarre secrets step by step in her search for the truth. The fragment of the diet and sports teacher for the overweight people was remarkably harsh and at certain moments it was simply over. 5/10
