The Healer plot
"You will believe in miracles"
Alec Bailey is a gambler and womanizer traumatized by the death of his twin brother Charlie. He is short on cash, but receives an offer from his uncle Richard, who lives in Halifax, Canada. He wants to pay off Alec's debts on one condition: Alec must stay in Halifax for a year. He accepts the offer, but when he arrives in town, he discovers that the residents believe he is 'The Chosen One', a man with the power to cure all diseases.
