Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer plot
Lummerland, the island with two mountains in the great ocean, has become too small to accommodate all its inhabitants. The orphaned boy Jim Knopf, stranded here as a baby, therefore wants to leave, together with his best friend Lukas, the engineer on the island. On their way to the big wide world, the two go through a series of adventures that lead them to the sea, into the sky, the desert, to Mandala and to the dragon city of Mrs. Mahlzahn.
