L'Inondation plot

In a village on the banks of the Rhone, Alban, a young farmer, is about to marry Margot. Monsieur Broc, a City Hall employee, discovers that his daughter is in love with Alban. When he rejects the marriage, she collapses. Then suddenly the water in the nearby river rises and the village overflows. That night Margot disappeared without a trace. They frantically look for her.
