Backstabbing for Beginners plot

When the young and idealistic Michael lands his dream job at the United Nations, he soon comes into contact with the oil-for-food program. He learns the tricks of the trade from Pasha, a seasoned diplomat with a big ego. When a UN official is killed in Iraq, Pasha needs a new face to report on the program's success to the UN Security Council. Michael is the perfect candidate. But when he discovers that the program is deeply corrupt, he also quickly realizes that he plays an important role in supporting Saddam Hussein.
