The police negotiate the terms of a witness protection deal in a hotel with Mikael, the prime suspect in a robbery and explosives expert. To agree to the deal, Mikael demands three things from the police: that his former girlfriend be brought to him, that they bring the contents of a stored box, and that he be served chicken from his favorite restaurant. The police, who are under severe time pressure to have him testify the next day, decide to agree.
