"Of good and evil, of love and hate, of peace and war."
The people of Judea must participate in a census in their hometown. Joseph, a carpenter, and his pregnant wife Mary go to Bethlehem. There is a lot of people on their feet and they find no accommodation, except in a stable. During their stay in the stable, Maria gives birth to a baby. King Herod remembers the prophecy about the Messiah, the long-awaited Savior. Herod fears his arrival and orders his soldiers to kill all male children under the age of two. Joseph hears a voice in his sleep urging him to flee to Egypt with his family. From then on we follow the life of Jesus up to the crucifixion and resurrection.
