The Music Lovers plot
The young Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky and his friend Count Anton Shiluevsky lead a riotous existence, until one day he marries the eccentric Antonina Milyukova. However, his homosexuality and his childhood trauma over the terrible death of his mother ensure that the marriage is short-lived. Thanks to his patron, the wealthy Madame von Meck, he is doing well in music, but when she finds out that he is gay, she turns off the money tap.
