Half a century ago, Grandpa Mori won a special dagger at a ninja tournament in Japan that he wants to hand over to the new winner. When he arrives in Japan he has an accident and ends up in the hospital. His three grandsons come to his aid and are allowed to hand out the dagger in his place. At the tournament, a girl who joins them wins. However, the ninjas want to be back in LA in time to assist their baseball team. After all, the Dragons have to compete against their rivals, the Mustangs. Meanwhile, Mori's nemesis Koga tries to get his hands on the dagger, which is the key to a secret cave...
