Sorority House Massacre II plot

"It's Cleavage vs. Cleavers and the result is Delta Delta Deadly!"

Five young girls rent a house to live in together. To their surprise, they get the house dirt cheap because five years earlier a few horrific murders were committed in it. They decide to spend the night in it so that they can help the movers in the morning, but in the middle of the night the girls are surprised by the strange neighbor Orville Ketchum, who has a very strange message for the girls.

Very boring turd. The director has not succeeded at all in turning this into a fun, cheesy horror film. 80 minutes are usually still manageable. Or they can be quickly looked away, but strangely enough this is not the case here. The actors here are just annoying and the movie doesn't really make any sense. For the rest, I agree with the two messages above. 1.0.

Well, a bit worse than the already very mediocre first part.

The "acting" is just very bad and the film has 0% tension. That wouldn't have been a problem if it had otherwise been a successful cheesy '80s film, but the film just doesn't captivate at all.

Even while no fewer than 7/8 actresses (except the police officer) skip by with bare torsos. The director has done his best to include as much female nudity in the film as possible, but this does not save the film from its demise.

What I found most typical is that the film tries to be a sequel to Sorority House Massacre and Slumber Party Massacre (the flashback images) at the same time.

A very poor contribution to the slasher genre. Even a difficult one for real fans of the genre.

The almost constant depiction of women showering shows that director Jim Wynorski's intention may not have been to deliver an exciting and/or bloody horror film, but simply to have a nice drool-worthy peek. Rarely have I seen such an intrusive focus on nudity, in that respect I am glad that we are less horny with our current cinema horror fodder. Wynorski's inability to properly build atmosphere and/or tension also makes for a tiring experience, but that was not much different with the first part. It all looks very cheap and the murders are anything but explicit, but the finale is so ridiculous that it at least ends with a certain quirkiness. It's a bit beyond me why this film even exists, because it's actually a re-edited sequel to a completely different series, namely The Slumber Party Massacre . In any case, the makers can make money by staring at and filming naked breasts, so they can probably blame the bad reception.
