Sweet, well-behaved and meaningless fairy tale about the battle between good and evil. Struggle is a big word by the way. Teasing is a better word. Descendants is a sweet film without scary or harsh confrontations.
The film was apparently made for a young audience. The story mainly takes place at a high school situated in a quaint fairytale land. The school is filled with good and happy Barbie-like model children. Very cute.
The film is never scary, shocking or stimulating. In this context, it is not surprising that the prince and princess never kiss each other, but at most lightly embrace each other. There is no kissing or scary things shown in Disneyland. Just imagine!
Oh yes, there is also dancing and singing. Very cheerful and brave songs. Flushing is the motto.
Irritating sweetness. Bah.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about this movie, I really liked it.
And for people who don't like Disney movies I would say; Then don't look at it!!
And stop whining on the internet about movies that are fun,
Disney only makes nice movies, you idiots don't like them,
is a matter of your bad taste.

Belle [Keegan Connor Tracy] and Beast [Dan Payne] have ruled for 20 years and have banished all the villains to an island. Their son Benjamin [Michell Hope] is about to be crowned king and he decides to give the children of the villains of old a new chance. Maleficent [Kristin Chenoweth], the Evil Queen [Kathy Najimy], Jafar [Maz Jobrani] and Cruella de Vil [Wendy Raquel Robinson] get the chance to share their children Mal [Dove Cameron], Evie [Sofia Carson], Jay [Booboo Stewart ] and Carlos [Cameron Boyce] to enroll at Aurodon Prep School. The newcomers are ordered by their parents to steal the magical staff of the Fairy Godmother [Melanie Paxson]. Cheerful musical for young people with an enthusiastic cast, a screenplay that makes fun of the conventions of the fairy tale genre and an excellent soundtrack. But where is Silent Bob? Start of a successful Disney Channel franchise that spawned three sequels.
