Eat plot

"The story of a girl who finds herself - and then eats herself"

Novella McClure is like any other actress trying to make a name for herself in Los Angeles. She's in her early thirties with a false name and she hasn't had a part in three years. On top of that, she has developed a disturbing habit of eating her own meat. Novella tries to hide this from her landlord, Eesha, but her mind and body deteriorate by the day.

Picked this one up and watched it without any expectations. A fairly low budget film, especially in terms of cast, but visually it was not too bad. The film is quite bloody.

The playing time was good, not too long and not too short.

An entertaining film, which is fun to watch, but not much more.

Apart from the filth, there is very little that stands out positively about this film. The film mainly consists of endless drivel of annoying characters played by painfully bad actors. Although Mrs. Maddock's acting level barely exceeds that of the others, at least she still has a certain comic aura that softens the pain a bit. She wasn't too bad.

The story makes no sense, but it is original. In any case, I can't remember ever seeing a movie in which a character gobbles up bits of ego. The scenes in which the platinum blonde protagonist does this are quite gruesome and well worth seeing. The film may have been made cheaply, but that cannot be seen from the gory effects. Not bad.

Other than that, there isn't much to say about the movie. It's just not all that good.

Really a film from the lower regions of the B class.

A remarkable low-budget horror in which an attractive lady has absolutely no confidence and feels that she is not accepted in society for whatever reason. As a result, she suffers self-destruction by eating her own body. Solo cannibalism, an original approach. For a low-budget film, the gore is quite nice and some scenes are quite bloody. The lead actress Meggie Maddock plays her role well, the rest of the cast is weak. A lot of chatter and most of the characters are not interesting. Her girlfriend doesn't have them all in a row either 5/10
