Oat, a musician, accompanies his grandfather to a remote island in search of his long-lost love. Much to their dismay, they learn that she has passed away. Oat's grandfather was too shy to propose to her and she married another man. Due to the bad weather, they cannot leave the island. Oat meets Bow and thinks he has found true love. He too is too shy and doomed to follow the same path as his grandfather.
