Out of Season plot

"Love comes when you least expect it."

Lesbian Micky settles down in a seaside town on the American East Coast to care for her ailing uncle. There is not much to do there as it is out of season. The restless Micky from New York is bored to death. Her only outing is a visit to the local diner, where she bumps into colored Roberta, who immediately falls for her. But Roberta does not give up easily. She doesn't feel like an adventure with someone who will disappear again when her uncle dies.
