"The Golden-Headed Little Lover of Limehouse, Who Will Dance Her Way Into Your Heart!"
Monica "Twinkletoes" Minasi lives in extreme poverty with her father. But her days are filled with fun and dancing. Together with the "Quayside Kids", led by Roseleaf, she is working on a big show. She also stands out on the street and knows how to stop a big street fight with dance. This makes a big impression on Chuck Lightfoot, a boxer who has been unhappily married and now falls deeply in love with Twinkletoes. Both Roseleaf and Lightfoot's wife aren't exactly happy about this.
