I am absolutely not a fan of that kitschy 80s pop rock, but I can imagine that it makes you happy as a fan.

It's a nice story with a lot of old footage from the archive.

Solid, entertaining documentary about the rise and fall of the pop group Spandau Ballet, one of the new wave greats of the 1980s. No talking heads; the sound fragments (i.e. the interviews) have been edited underneath the memorable archive material, an approach that works well here. The documentary perhaps follows the tried and tested formula a little too obediently, but overall this is a feast of recognition, presented with a lot of humor.
