Standard story, some nice chases and escapes. What bothered me most was daughter Kim, Maggie Grace. She acts emotions, exaggerated, which makes it unbelievable. An ever-recurring trait in Americans. She already did that with Taken 2.
And always that "I love you". Didn't they already know that about each other?
Nice always those ugly fake heads of fake Russians. They act well again.
The ending is a bit surprising. But the ending is pathetic again.
Does the chess piece suggest that it is a game of chess between Liam and the police? A bit far fetched. And that rubber band from Whitteker? Was that supposed to mean anything? Came across a few times emphatically.
With such a film, the director should not go deep.

After the kidnapping of the daughter in part 1 and the kidnapping of the mother in part 2, Liam Neeson herself is now the loser. There are no more family members, so suddenly the last part of the series. Again, this does not reach the level of part 1 and the editing is terrible (how many takes were needed to make Neeson jump over that fence?) but the film does have enough speed and action to enjoy it.
Fortunately, Neeson gets some (admittedly cliché) opponents with Dougray Scott and Forest Whitaker. It makes the whole thing a bit more interesting. Enough entertainment and slightly better than the predecessor. It's best that the series ends here as well.

Pretty OK standard action movie. Somewhat in line with Taken's other films. Also the last part of the series, maybe it's best that it ends now. Neeson remains Neeson, not really a special feeling, but he does not disappoint, but at the same time he is quite exchangeable by a genre like Butler.
The plot is often much of the same, again a kind of revenge and counter-question. The police are more prominent here under Whitaker's leadership and the latter is certainly a big plus. The cat and mouse game is quite enjoyable and entertaining to follow. Chase scenes quite OK, action too.
Bit predictable with the ultimate bad guy and also cliché. But come on, that's not the point. Average trump card, but that doesn't have to be bad or wrong for this genre of films.
