14-year-old Victor lives with his mother in a caravan on a beach in the south of France. He never knew his father and tells himself that he doesn't need him either. But when he hears that his father, a well-known conductor, is rehearsing with his orchestra nearby, Victor suddenly feels the urge to bond with him.
