Quite an interesting intro, we've a scientific individual out doing his thing. The vibe and atmosphere are so creepily choice, the way they use the lighting really gives it an eerie feeling of unease. Night in the forest is very hauntingly still, until it is not. Masterful cinematography accomplished setting the entire feel of the film and the pure unease in the viewer of the film.

We stumble across a brutal scene of carnage and find a poor soul in a rough state, probably left for dead or worse.

Our typical vile human beings show their ferocious nature every chance they get and the vile behavior they inflict join others is nothing short of savagery.

Not a bad western in today's interpretation of how cruel and truly wild it could have, must have been.

Such an interestingly strange and yet beautifully gruesome intro, followed by moments of silliness and then followed by gruesomeness.

Something is off about this situation, the atmosphere is totally creepy in a rather odd way. We now have an inexplicable story starting to develop, and it feels truly sinister.

What a twisted tale of childhood trauma and the horrors our minds create to survive.
