De eerste van de vele succesvolle samenwerkingen tussen Martin Scorsese en Leonardo DiCaprio - maar niet zo goed als in mijn herinnering. Dat ligt zeker niet aan de sterrencast en aankleding in de film, want die is simpelweg top. Dat ligt wel aan de houterig gefilmde actiescenes en rommelige verhaal.
