I had expected that this series would contain more thriller elements, but all subplots that threatened to go in that direction were sent into the proverbial forest. That must have been a conscious choice, which I can live with. What remains is a drama series, in which mourning and (yourself) forgiving play an important role. In that sense I thought it was a very successful series, regional novel I think the series really falls short. calling in the police at the end didn't fit the story very well, but it will have been done to show that the 9 eventually supported Marscha[/ spoiler]. I think the score is very low here, but that may have to do with expectations. If you don't expect too much thriller I would definitely recommend the series.

Just a nice series, with both (black) humor and drama, with a good cast. At first I thought, oh no, with Melissa McCarthy, which I am absolutely not a fan of, on the contrary, but here she didn't stand out in the negative sense. Only I don't understand the 18+ with this series, it's still pretty good.

Pffff. I am a lover of the author, Liane Moriarty. She has a dark writing style that really appeals to me. I also enjoyed the book. And then I recently read that there was a series of it, so I can see it right away. I couldn't have done better. Nicole Kidman just really doesn't fit the role of Masha. Just because it's not fun to watch her anymore. The series also lacks that dark atmosphere that the book does have. Just nice but that's about all.
