3% plot

A group of characters tries to be selected as part of the 3% who get approval to go to 'Die Kant', together they go into battle. People who reach the age of twenty can apply for a selection process where 3% are accepted to move on to a better world full of opportunity and the promise of a decent life. The selection process is brutal, fraught with tension and filled with extreme situations of stress, fear and moral dilemmas.

Well,

3% started very well with a more than excellent first season. Season 2 elaborated on that nicely, but the third season went a little too deep into the matter of "the process". As expected, this last season continues this trend. More attention is paid to the friction between the inland/shell and the offshore than to the process itself (read: the assignments).

Those assignments are what I especially enjoyed and I was happy that this was central to the first season. After that it was still good, but the assignments received slightly less attention each season than in the previous season.

Now I understand that it had to go this way [/i], because after 2/3 season you can hardly do anything else, but I still think it's a shame. This makes it feel rather soapy and the pacing is sometimes completely lost. Some episodes are just way too long now.

Very good for the first 2 seasons, then a little less so.
